Hey friends and family! Many of you have been asking lately if we have heard about a travel date to China. Unfortunately...no. We are waiting on something called an Article 5 from the US government (no worries that office is NOT closed because it is kept open by the fees we paid to process the paperwork...the ONLY time I've been grateful for getting hosed by a fee form!). After the Article 5 gets issued, then it goes to the children's welfare office in China, who then clears us to travel to pick up Ai Lan. Once that clearance comes in, then Holt gives us a travel date. Hope that clears up any questions for you! Believe me, when we get a travel date...you will definitely hear about it! Until then...keep up those prayers!
